Arrival, Light & Maraya
Arrive in AlUla and settle into Habitas before meeting Ed Morris and getting to know the weekend ahead. The photography begins at Maraya, its mirrored façade reflecting the surrounding desert and changing light. Stay for sunset and dinner overlooking Ashar Valley.
Ancient AlUla
Explore Dadan and Jabal Ikmah, photographing rock formations and ancient inscriptions before lunch at Princess Noura’s Farm. Continue to Hegra, Saudi Arabia’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its monumental Nabataean tombs and sandstone landscape. The evening is left deliberately relaxed.
Oasis, Arabian Horses & Desert Skies
Begin in a private oasis, working with texture, shadow and desert light, followed by a farm-to-table lunch. Later, visit a private Arabian horse farm to photograph the horses, their movement and connection with people. Finish with dinner at a private desert farm and stargazing beneath AlUla’s dark skies.
Departure
Breakfast at leisure before your private transfer to AlUla Airport for your onward journey.
