Day 1

Arrive in Tabuk

Arrive in Tabuk and settle in before meeting the professional cyclists and team who will lead the journey south. Spend time preparing bicycles and equipment, discussing the route and getting ready for the days ahead, with Tabuk providing the starting point for the ride towards AlUla.

Day 2

Tabuk to Bajdah

Leave Tabuk behind and begin riding into the extraordinary landscape of the northwest. The first stage introduces the scale and openness of the terrain, with long roads and mountain views accompanying the group towards Bajdah Nature Reserve.

Day 3

Bajdah to Wadi Al Disah

Ride towards Wadi Al Disah, where enormous sandstone columns rise around a valley of palms and grasses. The changing terrain provides one of the journey’s great landscape transitions, with approximately 100 kilometres covered during the day.

Day 4

Wadi Al Disah to Bada

Continue south from Wadi Al Disah towards Bada, riding approximately 100 kilometres through open desert and mountain landscapes. Long stretches of road, changing elevations and remarkably little traffic make the journey itself the focus.

Day 5

The Road Towards AlUla

The landscape begins to change again as the journey turns towards AlUla. Ride approximately 110 kilometres through increasingly dramatic sandstone country, with the scale and formations of the region gradually signalling the approach to one of Saudi Arabia’s most distinctive landscapes.

Day 6

Arrive in AlUla

Complete the final stage of the ride and arrive in AlUla. After several days on the road, there is time to recover before exploring something of the oasis, Old Town and monumental sandstone landscape that marks the end of the cycling journey.

Day 7

AlUla Riding Day

One final ride in AlUla, with the route shaped around its roads and landscape. After hundreds of kilometres across northwest Saudi Arabia, the day offers a different perspective on the destination before a final evening together.

Day 8

Departure

Enjoy breakfast and a final morning in AlUla before departure. The bicycles are packed away and the road journey ends here, after approximately 340 kilometres travelled through Tabuk, Wadi Al Disah, Bada and the landscapes of northwest Saudi Arabia.
