Job Purpose

As a driver, you are responsible for driving, parking, and returning guest cars, whilst assisting clients promptly, efficiently, courteously, and professionally.

Key Accountabilities

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens throughout employment

• Must be a licensed driver for at least 2 years (for insurance purposes)

• Clean driving record

• Sound knowledge of road safety regulations

• Working knowledge of local roads and routes

• The ability to utilize maps, GPS systems, and car manuals.

• Punctual and reliable

• Valid driver's license.

• A commercial driver's license will be advantageous.

• Licensed to transport passengers via automobile.

• Proven experience as a chauffeur or taxi driver.

• Acquainted with GPS software and local traffic reports.

• Neat appearance.

• Ability to interact with clients in a warm, professional manner.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to work during evenings, on weekends, and on public holidays, as required.

• Strong sense of responsibility and punctuality

• Ability to sit in a car for long periods of time

• Must have shift flexibility between Sunday through Saturday

• No criminal convictions in the past 5 years.

• Must be comfortable with texting and using apps, and be willing to use your personal smartphone for work

• Education: High school or equivalent (Required) 

• Experience: at least 2 years driving experience (Required). Must have genuine interest in working with and assisting older adults 

• Position requires proficient interpersonal and communication skills; moderate reading, writing and grammar skills; auditory and visual skills; ability to bend, stoop, sit, stand, lift, reach, and push or pull a minimum of 50 pounds.

• Establish and maintain good public relations with Clients while meeting or exceeding their expectations

• Politely treat all clients and colleagues at all times

• Give complete cooperation to any client or colleague requiring assistance in a prompt, caring, and helpful manner

• Be aware of the KSA driving regulations and abide by them

• Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect Colleagues’ health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment

• Provide accurate time records of the company vehicle’s comings and goings.

• Adjusting travel routes to avoid traffic congestion or road construction.

• Promptly informing the company of any tickets issued against the company vehicle during work hours.

• Keeping the company vehicle clean and properly maintained by performing regular washing, cleaning, and vehicle maintenance

• To be successful as a Roam driver, you should be able to resolve clients' queries and complaints promptly. Ultimately, an outstanding driver will ensure that the vehicle remains furnished with items that might be of use to the client

• Liaising with the company or client to determine when and where you will collect the individual.

• Ensuring that the client's door is open as you greet them in a professional, sincere manner.

• Assisting clients with the loading and unloading of their possessions, as required.
