Days 1 - 3:
Riyadh, Past & Present
Begin in Riyadh, moving between Al Masmak, Souq Al Zal and the city’s contemporary architecture. Then travel into the desert to the Edge of the World. The cliffs and uninterrupted horizon give an immediate sense of the scale of central Saudi Arabia, particularly as the sun begins to set.
Day 4
Into AlUla
Arrive in AlUla and walk through the lanes of the Old Town with a local storyteller. The afternoon is slower, with time to settle into the landscape and explore the oasis before the archaeological discoveries that follow.
Days 5 - 8
AlUla & Jeddah
Explore AlUla through Hegra, the oasis and a local farm before continuing to Jeddah. Here, spend time in Al Balad and along the Corniche, then get out onto the Red Sea.
Day 9:
Departure
A final morning before departing for the onward journey.
