The mountains of AlUla are waiting to be climbed. With its spectacular sandstone terrain, there are plenty of nooks and crannies to hook yourself onto while admiring the views.

For those who love hights, enjoy being suspended in a harness where you can navigate obstacles and challenges along the ‘iron path,’ with the Via Ferrata. It is a unique way to explore the mountains without having to climb them. Once you’ve reached the top, you can relax in the hammock net with panoramic views out across the valley.

The giant swing is not for the faint hearted, allowing you to fly over the canyon terrain. You'll be harnessed in and lifted to a height of over 85 metres, before leaping over the mountain’s edge and enjoying the free fall before the swing catches you. 

From swinging to abseiling, you can experience the thrill of descending down AlUla’s steep rock face whilst attached to a rope and harness. Abseiling is the perfect activity for thrill-seekers of all levels. Whether you're a seasoned adventurer or just looking for a new challenge, abseiling offers a unique and unforgettable experience.

Speed through the incredible scenery of AlUla on the longest and fastest zipline in the Kingdom. Reach up to the speed of 120 km/h while flying through the sky.

To round off the day, refuel with sundowners on the Harrat, followed by dinner with panoramic views across the oasis. As night falls, take a short trip just beyond AlUla Old Town into the desert to marvel at the starry night sky. Travel in the company of a local astronomer who can teach you the constellations glistening above you. Then gather around a warming campfire and listen to the tales of a local storyteller. The perfect finish to any adventure.
